When did Indie/Scene become such a bad thing?
I was out the other night.. and this girl asked me where I normally go out in the valley etc.. and I mentioned Alibi/Gerties (oh tacos and 2 for 1’s…)
Anyway.. then she started shouting at me “INDIE! INDIE! INDIE!”
That was after we bonded.. she called me Pixie Geldolf.. you know, the usual.
I don’t want to know what she would have done if we hadn’t had a little bonding session.
So I have to ask.. what’s so wrong with Indie/Scene people? I’ve been called it a lot over the past year or so and normally with a distasteful look on someone’s face.
I don’t get it.
If it is the well-dressed people who listen to good music and like all random groups of people (note: thank you Alibi/Gerties) - then I say long live the Indie/Scene kids.
Just not the ones that aren’t nice and who think they are mega cool. They may be.. but it’s cooler to put across that you don’t think you’re cool.
Ladies eg: The guys who are SUPER pretty but don’t know it. Ah.. Nice..
Embrace the indie/scene people. They can be loverly.
