It’s here. The American tradition we try to do in Australia but let’s admit: we fail.
The only thing I am super happy about is that when I was younger, I did trick-or-treat. Once.
Although until I was in Grade 2… I didn’t know it was ‘trick-or-treat’. I thought it was some mashing up of faux words.. such as “trikohtree” Nice.
Another thing I am truly happy about is that I live in a unit. So I can’t have people knocking on my door.
And if they ring the buzzer… it is so loud I will have to shout at them through the phone. Because I’m apparently that kind of person. I think it’s because I’m hungry.
So if you are celebrating Halloween tonight, enjoy yourselves. I am refraining from the celebration as I am too tired. I also have nothing to dress up in.
Especially for tonight, with all your dress ups…
